The 9th American Forest Congress is proud to partner with the Omni Shoreham Hotel, a historic destination located in the lovely Woodley Park/National Zoo neighborhood of Washington, DC.

Room Block

The Congress Planning Team has secured two room blocks at the Omni Shoreham Hotel at discounted rates: one for non-government employees and the other for Federal, State and Local Government employees. Deadline for securing room reservations through the blocks is Friday, June 20. Please note the applicable restrictions outlined on the Omni booking pages.

Non-government employee negotiated rate:
 $249/night + 15.95% District Occupancy Tax and WAIVED daily destination fee.

Federal, State and Local Government employee negotiated rate:
$183/night + 15.95% District Occupancy Tax and WAIVED daily destination fee.

About the Venue

This iconic hotel has hosted presidents, world leaders, and inaugural balls since its inception in the 1930s. The Omni Shoreham is an easy distance to the Nation’s Capital museums and monuments, as well as the National Zoo and Reagan National Airport. The city’s popular attractions are nearby, including the National Zoo, White House, United States Capitol, Smithsonian museums, and the National Mall. The historic Rock Creek Park, a 1,754-acre city treasure, was the third national park to be officially recognized by the federal government in 1890. The park is literally in the hotel’s backyard!
